Encore Flow’s treatment process begins at these pre-water treatment plant points, also known as the collections system. We add our proprietary fermentation units and safe, natural solutions at varying points around the community, to help reduce hydrogen sulfide, FOG (fats, oils and grease), BOD loading, and odors, before they can reach the plant.
Many of these contaminants are new hazards that are not currently removed at the plant and they can cause disease, clogging, and increased use of chemical treatments at the plant, which themselves have negative effects on the environment and our bodies.

Are you testing for PFAS?
Although the EPA has not yet set PFAS standards for sludge and wastewater, the agency has long been aware of the problem. Problems have been reported for decades, with PFOA and PFOS in the water, and in fields, spread on grazing lands. Many tests have confirmed that these chemicals are contaminating animals and humans in rural areas.
