The Encore Earth Solution
Encore Earth’s process is customized based on the amount of sludge that must be destroyed. We work with each plant to solve their unique needs, with the ultimate goal of destroying “forever chemicals” completely in a carbon neutral way.
Our Solution
STEP 1: REMOVE CHEMICALS
Add Mineral Nanoparticles
We customize the catalyst for the wastewater being treated to ensure optimum use of our nanoparticle filtration to drop the “Forever Chemicals” into the sludge.
STEP 2: DEWATER AND DRY
Dry Sludge/Biosolids
Encore Earth’s unique closed-loop drying system dries the dewatered sludge down to 90% solids. The captured water from the drying process is used in the plasma generator.
STEP 3: ELIMINATE CHEMICALS
Plasma Generation & Gasification
Our EPA standard plasma generator uses a small amount of electricity to trap any contaminants that would escape in the system while destroying “Forever Chemicals.”
STEP 4: RETURN THE ENERGY
Energy Conversion
We add an optional energy converter that uses ORC Technology to generate electricity from waste heat in a completely closed-loop system.
CURRENT SOLUTIONS FALL SHORT
Why aren't the current solutions enough?
Activated Carbon
This solution absorbs organic compounds including PFAS, but it doesn't work well on short-chain chemicals (PFBS, PFBA), and in the end, creates more waste and pollution that now must be eliminated.
Anion Exchange
Tiny beads made from hydrocarbons can be specialized for certain chemicals, but often depend on additional treatments and clarification in order to be truly effective.
Membrane Filtration
These filters work well on a broad-spectrum removal of PFAS, but are costly and demand a lot of energy. Also, the reject water must be treated before discharging.
None of these methods solve the waste problem.
They are costly, contaminated, and carbon intensive, and leave contaminated waste and filters when complete.

We add a specific nanoparticle at your headworks that doesn’t interfere with your normal bugs to drop ”forever chemicals” into the sludge. We then dry, dewater and eliminate the sludge easily (on-site or off-site).
NO CHEMICALS
Eliminate “Forever Chemicals”
Resins and RO Filters still leave “forever chemicals” that can’t be eliminated. With Encore Earth’s solution, we eliminate 100% of “Forever Chemicals” safely.

Low Energy & Carbon Negative
Hauling, burning, composting and filtration are energy and carbon-intensive. Encore Earth specializes in low energy, low carbon solutions and provides carbon-negative results.
